About Betsy Jordan | |

Why am I qualified to take you on this journey of discovering that you have the creativity to design your life the way you want? Because I have done it myself and have assisted so many others do the same! I was fortunate enough to be raised in an environment rich in leadership and achievement. From a young age, I realized that my experiences and my reaction to them allowed me to achieve success in everything from school to career to personal relationships. With that, I traveled many paths, from politics to business, always searching for more creative and effective measures to realize my goals. When I was working on an inner city revitalization project in Raleigh, NC and serving on the Community Relations board in Charlotte NC I realized that my greatest joy was when I was supporting others to lead in their lives. I also realized that success is defined quite differently by each individual, and I often found myself asking, “Well, what do you REALLY want?” It became clear that often, people weren’t clear about their goals, or where to go when they had achieved goals they set earlier. I found that many of those that I worked with were blocked by preconceived notions, or ‘filters’ that were created by their reactions to past experience and the perceptions of what others wanted them to do or be. When we cleared those filters, amazing things happened! During my development of a training program to educate business people on the use of intuition in the workplace, I discovered that intuition, an inner “knowing” which actually has no language, could be measured in the body. I became fascinated with the mind-body connection. In 1992, I studied with Deepak Chopra, becoming one of the first mind/body educators in the country. While that may sound impressive, the difference it made in how I approached my own life is what opened the door for me to be sharing with you now. I saw clearly how being a victim of circumstances was a powerless way to be, and that being able to respond to my life as if I was a creator with my thoughts and reactions, was a very powerful way to live! Through my subsequent consulting and coaching businesses, I continued to study and train, having full belief that we are never ‘cooked and baked’ or finished in the process of personal growth. I have over 1000 hours of training in this arena, receiving my PHD in Experiential Training through the Legacy Center and Direct Impact. With over 2000 hours of training, coaching and workshop leadership, I have distilled all that I have discovered and experienced into a simple language, designed to support you in utilizing your powerful creativity and living life authentically causing your dreams to happen!
